Geolux specializes in contactless radar instruments to measure water level and discharge in rivers. However, the highlight of its booth this year is the release of the new SmartObserverPlus datalogger.
The SmartObserverPlus is a powerful datalogger designed specifically for environmental monitoring applications. It seamlessly integrates with various instruments and sensors, offering multiple communication interfaces, including RS-232, RS-485 Modbus, SDI-12, CAN and ethernet. It features an integrated MPPT battery charger for efficient power management, ensuring reliable operation even in remote locations. The datalogger comes in single or dual SIM versions for reliable communication. Configuring the datalogger is straightforward using intuitive PC application, and advanced users can take advantage of an embedded MicroPython engine to write custom scripts and take full control of the datalogger.
With its extremely low power consumption and advanced modular communication subsystem, the SmartObserverPlus is an ideal solution for long-term, remote monitoring in hydrological and environmental settings. It offers flexibility, energy efficiency and ease of integration with Geolux and third-party sensors, and can operate autonomously with a solar panel and battery system. This, coupled with the robust design and advanced communication options, positions it as a cutting-edge solution for modern environmental monitoring challenges.
“Geolux is thrilled to exhibit again at Meteorological Technology World Expo, where we are unveiling our latest product, the SmartObserverPlus datalogger,” said the company’s managing director, Nikša Orlić. “This event is a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with industry leaders and demonstrate how our cutting-edge solutions can address the most pressing challenges in hydrological and environmental monitoring. We look forward to engaging with professionals who are as passionate as we are about advancing the field through innovative technology.”
